I am Naureen, Founder of Inspiring Women in Hospitality. I am a community builder, gender balance advocate and inspire impact coach.
What have I done so far?
- Interviewed over 200 women globally over the past four years and built a wealth of knowledge of the female experience in hospitality through the podcast 'inspiring women in hospitality'
- Held 13 inspire Roundtables in 8 cities around the world
- Launched the Inspire Community in September 2023 with over 100 members globally and counting
- Been invited to speak on podcast, webinars and in person events on the topics of gender balance, networking and inclusive leadership
- Conducted workshops for women in leadership
- Coaching women to grow in confidence, develop their careers and make an impact.
My vision is gender balance at all levels of hospitality
Prior to this I have had a corporate career with #STR which allowed me to build a global network and worked in areas of branding, marketing, PR, product development, research and data analytics. Before that spent several years in hotel operations with a focus on revenue Management and F&B. Love of hospitality has been at the core and it is the place where I found my belonging
My career has already taken many turns. And I believe we don’t have just one career. But what I do know is that whatever I do I want to make an impact.
- With F&B it was about the culinary experience.
- Revenue management was room revenue optimisation.
- With STR it was providing access to independent data for the industry to make the better business decisions.
- And now with Inspiring women in hospitality, to change the make up of senior leadership in hospitality in the next five to ten years. By working together with women and men of the industry to make change happen
