Why am I a content creator?
📣 This is also one of those titles I was reluctantto embrace. I was not a content creator, I not like one of those influencers…… after a conversation with chatgpt we agreed that this is what I am doing.
Although it also suggested that I am a thought-leader… a title I yet ready to embrace.
So I became acontent creator without even realising that is what I was doing. My original
purpose was to create a platform for the female stories to be heard. And I now use that platform to advocate for #genderbalance
How have I created content?🌏
So how did I become a content creator? I startedwith interviews for the podcast @inspiring women in hospitality. 5 years later and over 200 interviews I have had the honour to speak so some of the most inspiring women in our industry and many more to come. Started my own events and 25 events later, across 11 cities I have brought many women together. And many more through the Inspire Community. Each of us learning from each other, growing our network with content curated by me. When I speak on stage now, I speak on topics that I have experienced first hand, heard from my guests and women I work with, and all the research I have done on the topic of women in
leadership and gender balance.
What is the impact?
📣 Visibility. It always comes down to visibility. IfI had not started the podcast 5 years ago, if I had not written that blog post, if I had not organised the events or started the community we would not have
the visibility we have today in our industry on women in the workplace and gender balance.
🏔 Visibility is the first step, the next step willbe harder - #action .
